About me
After extensive work as an official pianist of international singing competitions such as the Francisco Viñas International Competition and the Plácido Domingo Operalia World Contest, I performed song recitals with numerous singers and as a rehearsal conductor, thus augmenting my deep knowledge of the lyrical repertoire
When I was hired as a pianist at the Institute of the Theater of the Provintial Council of Barcelona, I acquired extensive experience and knowledge in classical, spanish and contemporary dance, which led me to the musical direction of the great ballet titles
I began my musical studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Liceu in Barcelona, where I obtained the Highter Degree in Piano, the Highter Degree in Chamber Music and the Highter Degree in Transposition, Solfege and Accompaniment
I completed a Postgraduate Degree in Spanish Music at the Marshall Academy, receiving master classes from its then director, Alicia de Larrocha
I obtained a Master´ s degree in Cultural Management, University of Barcelona and DEA and DESE in the Doctorate of Performing Arts, Autonomous University of Barcelona
I studied orchestral conducting with J. Pérez Batista, who for more than thirty years was an internal teacher of the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona
I have been a solo pianist at the Santander Festival with the Vivaldi Orchestra of Paris with the concert of W. Mozart in A Major KV. 414
As a solo pianist, I participated in the world premiere and recording of D. Q. Don Quixote in Barcelona by J.L Turina at the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona

Rosa Sabater Award in Spanish Music at the University of Santiago de Compostela
First Prize of the Parramón Foundation
Award in interpretation of Catalan music of the Board of Trustees Arjau
Fusic Award for orchestral direction with the Symphony Orchestra of the Association R. Strauss
Guineueta of Amics of the Zorrilla Theater of Badalona for my musical career
As orchestral conductor I started with the direction of numerous titles of Zarzuela with popular culture entities of Barcelona thanks to the teacher J. Oliver and the Hnos. Gracia among others. I soon aprroached opera direction in different productions and that took me to international stages
I have developed an extraordinarily versatile repertoire, although I am especially know in Opera and Ballet. My knowledge in these areas and my unwavering determination has allowed me to challenge expectations and conquer the most prestigious stages in the world
I have been Artistic Director among others of the Real Cercle Artístic of Barcelona, the Cycle of Concerts of Castles and Cataloged Houses of Catalonia and the Concert-Tribute to Victoria de los Angeles at the Pananinfo of the University of Barcelona
In the teaching field I have been a professor the University of California, Irvine (UCI) with the University Symphony Orchestra
I have been invited as a judge of the International Dance Contest City of Barcelona and the Music Scholarships of the Güell Foundation, Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi
I have been a councilor for Culture, Sports and District 5 in Badalona and a deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia. 2021-2024
