Helena Bayo is a orchestra conductor who has achieved historic records in conducting Opera and Ballet. Born in Barcelona, she has managed to break barriers in the field of orchestral conducting.

She achieved international recognition with the macro production of Aida G. Verdi in Bilbao Exhibition Center (SPAIN)

Invited personally by Alicia Alonso, she was the first and only spanish conductor to conduct the Ballet Nacional de Cuba with Giselle A. Adam in Teatro Nacional del Cuba, La Habana

At Royal Albert Hall (United Kingdom) she conducted Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky with the English National Ballet.

She is the first woman in the world to conduct in Istambul Opera with Don Quijotte (2019)

At Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona) she conducted the world première of Adria´ s Confessions by Marian Budos (2021)
